Nutrition advice can feel complicated.
We’re here to make it feel clear.

Nectar Nutrition offers personalised dietetic support grounded in evidence, compassion and your individual needs. We look beyond food alone to understand your lifestyle, health, goals and relationship with nutrition, creating realistic strategies that fit naturally into your life.

Monique, Accredited Practising Dietitian

Hi, I’m Monique!

I’m an Accredited Practising Dietitian passionate about helping people build a healthier, more confident relationship with food.

My approach combines evidence-based nutrition with practical, personalised support. Rather than focusing on rigid rules or quick fixes, we’ll work together to understand what your body needs and create sustainable changes that genuinely suit your lifestyle.

I believe nutrition should add to your life, not take away from it.

Nutrition support,
centred around you.

A few things you might be wondering

Do I need a referral?

No, you don’t need a referral to see a dietitian. If your GP has provided you with a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP), you may be eligible for Medicare rebates for a set number of sessions. If you’re unsure, your GP can guide you.

Are consultations available online?

Yes - Nectar Nutrition is fully online. All consultations are delivered via secure video call or phone, giving you flexible access to support from wherever you are.

What happens during my first consult?

Your first consultation is all about getting to know you. I’ll complete a thorough nutrition assessment, exploring your background, lifestyle, medical history, current dietary habits and goals. This helps me understand what’s important to you and how I can best support you to make meaningful, sustainable changes.

Can I claim consultations through private health insurance?

Yes - if your private health insurance includes cover for dietetics or allied health, you can submit your invoice to claim a rebate. The amount you receive will depend on your individual level of cover.

What nutrition concerns can you help with?

PMOS (formerly known as PCOS)

I offer personalised nutrition support to help you manage PMOS and feel more confident in your health. This may include reducing inflammation, improving gut comfort and digestive function, balancing hormones, addressing nutrient gaps, supporting insulin sensitivity, strengthening your relationship with food and body image, and helping you understand your symptoms and how nutrition can support them.

Endometriosis

Nutrition support may include supporting energy levels, reducing inflammation and pelvic discomfort, improving gut health and easing IBS-type symptoms, enhancing fertility, regulating menstrual patterns, and identifying and correcting nutrient deficiencies.

Fertility Nutrition

Evidence-based nutrition guidance can support regular ovulation, underlying contributors such as endometriosis, PCOS, hypothalamic amenorrhoea, gut issues or low energy intake, key nutrient needs for conception, preparation for a healthy pregnancy, and reducing miscarriage risk.

Perimenopause & Menopause

Support may include improving sleep and energy, managing hormone changes, protecting bone and heart health, supporting mental clarity and emotional wellbeing, healthy ageing strategies, and overall quality of life.

Pregnancy & Postpartum

Support includes nausea, vomiting, constipation and heartburn management, trimester-specific nutrient needs, energy support, breastfeeding nutrition, and Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) support including practical meal planning, balancing carbohydrates with protein and fibre, and understanding blood glucose targets.
